A favourite food tree of koalas. Evergreen with large fairly dense crown, white flowers in early spring & summer every second or third year. Bees love the flowers and produce delicious eucalypt honey.
The bark is smooth, whitish, peeling in thin sheets or large flake becoming mottled with white, grey or blueish patches.

Position: prefers a sunny position.
Planting: cultivate soil before planting. Dig hole three times the width of the container. Remove plant from container and place into hole so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground. Will grow in most soil types but not acidic or waterlogged.
